Should I prune my young mango trees now before they push buds out?

Pretty much all of my trees are swelling at the buds or already holding small fruit. Should I snip them of just below the tip to encourage vegetative/ root growth now or should I let them. some have been in the ground for two years from 7gl but I let them fruit the last two seasons. the rest are still in pots 15/25gl, what's the best thing to do at the moment?

Let them be until we reach the beginning of our "spring" warm up.

Should I do the ones in pots and the ones just planted as well? I was wandering if that would slow down the root growth?
