Is "Coc" short for "Coconut" or is it a different mango cultivar?
I have both, but I recently top-worked my Nam Doc Mai and grafted Him Sagar, Juliette and Venus on it. I planted Coc purely on reputation; the tree is growing nicely but is yet to flower.

Cac was the most popular and most requested mango we sold in 2016. It's a tier above NDM without question. However, there's a couple of drawbacks. Chief among them its extremely vigorous growth habit. Also has a strong tendency to flush growth in winter, suggesting it requires a stronger-than-average bloom stimulus to achieve a full bloom. Not particularly precocious and More likely to send out mixed panickel than others.

I would have guessed it would be a new Zill variety or a classic Florida mango .
Here's a picture Simon
The Coc mangoes I have seen and eaten here in Florida do not have a deep orange flesh color. The color from what I have seen here is a definite yellow.
Is "coc" same as "cac" thanks
I tasted a coc last year and it was fantastic.......even more so because it has not been mentioned as a top tiered mango

Dont get me wrong, many of the ew Zill varieties are fantastic and extreme top tier but certain varieties suchs as Coc should be included in the top tier. Another that opened my eyes was Son Pari, which for some reason is poorly k own in South Florida (maybe due ro something such a production issue I am unaware of, who knows?).
