It is very wide spread in the area even where not cultivated. But I imagine humans are the seed spreaders not that the giant sloths and other megafauna are extinct.

Visiting family and friends in Bolivia. We were able to tour the quinta Guttierrez in Porongo, not far from Santa Cruz. This appears to be the original location for Achacha. It is growing every where in this area. I do not understand why it is so wide spread here. I did not see any animals consuming the fruit.

Small mango.  Extremely sweet, orange flesh. Small tree (potential condo mango?). Commonly grows in Bolivia gardens

I have been told it is garcinia humilis. I was able to eat a lot of them on my last trip to Bolivia. Wonderful!
