Brogdon is delicious. Thin black skin, creamy, high oil content

Yes, Wurtz might be a good choice.  It's not a dwarf tree here like it is in California, but it still seems to be on the smaller side.

Hey Sidney,

How does your Oro Negro do? Have you gotten any fruit yet and how was it?

The Oro Negro is a beautiful tree but after 4 years has not ptoduced.

In seven years my ON tree produced only a dozen or so fruit.  Last year they all dried up on the tree before ripening.  The tree showed no vigor and not much growth.  In other words, it turned out to be a dud, and I don't know why so I removed it a few months back.

I have a Lula but no fruit this year. No wilt yet but the lace bugs have been awful.

No laurel wilt here, but every spring the insects chew the hell out of the avocado leaves.  That seems to retard the growth of the trees.
