Yes, would like to know the correct name of Alupag fruit. Here are the possible names I have seen. But not sure which is the correct id.

  • Dimocarpus Longan subsp. Malesianus (Isau/Sau/Kakus)
  • Litchi Cchinensis subsp. Philippinensis
  • Dimocarpus Didyma

now approx 4yr old?  maybe 6ft tall by 6ft wide, in a 30 gal pot....the trunk caliper is 2 inch or more?  still no signs of the bark exfoliating!?!

no blooms yet either...I thought some were coming, but it was wishful thinking...

Is the Orange Eugenia identified already? Is it Eugenia Luschnathiana?

Since its a native African plant, might be difficult to get seeds from India.

Marula plants used to be available in Kerala for sale. You may check with them.

this is different than gardneriana..   its also called madrono here..  but i think the names are interchangeable.
