Laaz, you get an A+ on this great article of citrus history, many thanks. The Bizzarria noted in this article is, I think, a different Bizzarria than the Lemon based Bizzarria that we both know of. By the way, Mike (citrange) visited the Villa di Castello gardens on one his of trips to Italy. Several years ago, I was in Florence, but sadly at that time did not know of the gardens..

There are several "Bizzarria" in Italy. They are all based on bitter orange but one based on lemon , this one is rare.

I did not know either about this during my visit to Florence. I hope to visit the garden next month.

Unfortunately not.
4-7-11-12-14-19-20-21-25-27 June 2019 will be closed. All the other days it should be open. Last entrance at 18.
