PLEASE HELP! I would appreciate any insight and suggestions about the sweetest gooseberry varieties. I was honing in on Captivator and Hinnomaki Red but was told by multiple nurseries that they can be tart and are not as good as certain European varieties. I am looking for gooseberries that are sweet (little to no acidity) and a bonus if their not one note (have complexity coupled with sweetness).

I am also interested. Raintree nursery has a dozen with nice descriptions but i have no first hand knowledge. Will be buying some soon. Hopefully other nurseries or collectors have them.
