White Sapote eating

Is it ok to eat the skin of a white sapote fruit? I have a Suebelle white sapote and the flesh is flavorful but hard to scoop with seeds seeds and soft skin. I end up eating parts of skin and flesh together. Skin does not have bitterness of other cultivars.

Oh noooo, you ate the skin? I hope your life ending documents are in order. I would start saying your good byes to your loved ones....
Wouldnt it have been better to ask before you ate it if you really had any concerns? Just sayin...

Yes ok to eat. I usually peel them, just because most taste better without the skin. But as you point out, there are some types where the skin has no bitterness.

Funny Rob. It's just that I read some place that the skin is a laxative. I guess only for some people. Thanks for input Oscar.
