We reached 95 it’s about time after a cold winter and very mild spring. Your lemon zest is loaded, great job Gonz.

My mangos havent been pushing growth (they have had swollen buds for at least three weeks) at all during 2019 i suspect it is because of the very mild weather. It seems peaches nectarines and plums loved 2018 winter and 2019 spring, they are loaded. Even after thinning 80% of the blooms/fruit i still had to prop up branches due to heavy fruit load.

My avocado trees aren't quite enjoying the hot temp. Their new grows on top are wilting.

hit 105 on Sunday, 106 yesterday, and could top 107 today. these high temps are bad news for mango fruitlets and specially Cherimoya small fruits and flowers. they will get fried in wake of near single digit humidity

112 yesterday, 114 today, 115 tomorrow. It's been at least 105 for the last 5-6 days and the trees are all taking it ok except for my young ice cream bean trees. I'll need to cover up the young ones not under canopy today. 115 degrees seems to be around the magic number they start to take some noticeable damage.

Edit: it's even hotter than expected

Waterforlwer, thanks for the input. Nice to know the extreme heat mangoes can handle in ca.

l live in garden grove 10b our highs was 89 with some humidity.   All my trees are singing.   I was able to put some mango grafts early last week so good timing.  Think next year I will be ready to take some pictures of my progress hahaha it's been a long and slow progress but it's coming along :)
