I had a few berries that seemed like they were not as effective... overripe?

2
Awesome... I've been wanting to grow noni... I killed the first one due to frost I think.

3
Balsamic and beer interesting... I tried decent wine and I hated it... cloyingly sweet! Ha ha

4
If it falls its ripe...
Jesus counted on the wind to shake things up and make them stronger...

I do not plan on running water... I suspect it's more about getting oxygen to the roots and lots of minerals too... the fact I've seen it growing in direct sun in the soil tells me it's a plant first...

Last night, a PG&E meteorologist said this weekend's severe wind event could be the strongest California has seen in "years." Now the company is saying the weather event could be the most powerful in "decades."

PG&E is now saying approximately 850,000 customers could lose power in the potential PSPS event this weekend starting Saturday.

Using the 3.1 persons per account estimate, that means roughly 2.6 million people could be without power.

They say that every year! Same exact script year after year... Santa Ana's is just a term for strong wind now... I wish they didnt cry wolf so much, same with the rain.

I live where it gets heavy winds... in the neighboring cities... But Claremont is dense with trees, big old trees... by the time the Santa Ana's reach my house it has to really be whipping for my trees to sway much.

Place in Oregon sells wasabi all kinds of stuff. I am going to get my set-up ready before I spend a bunch of money, then I will do some experimental plantings. As they say there's more than one way to skin a cat.

My miracle berry is fruiting and flowering like crazy too... we've been below 50 at night a few times this year and it doesn't seem to mind yet.

I Doubt you could buy asbestos in the USA... No company would take on that risk. Asbestos has caused Gigantic class action lawsuits to pay out big bucks... Honeywell bought and sold a company in 1 day, during a paperwork shuffle and had to pay millions of dollars even though they had nothing to do with asbestos. Most companies wouldn't touch that stuff with a 10 foot pole.

Unless you have something taking up that nitrogen... it's still in the soil. Grow something else then try again.

Like most plants sun plus water plus time equal growth... lots of nitrogen equals lots of green growth not so much tuber growth... in my experience

I am not familiar with the Malay apple...
But I do grow jujube... I have li and lang both similar in taste and wonderful crunch... As I understand it the more the tree matures it gets sweeter. The fruit can be eaten crunchy or let them dry and they are really sweet and chewy think Date! Health benefits are good... very productive. There are several varieties.
The bad is they make suckers and have spikes. (Which I like)

Next time you go out to sushi, ask for fresh wasabi... ohh man is it ever good! Kinda like a relish, just grated with salt I believe. The stuff we are used to seeing is probably made from powdered wasabi.
