Slow Release Watering Bag for Trees

Does anyone know how effective these are on fruit trees? I know some trees do not like wet feet but I want to start dropping down some slow release ferts with some potassium to get my trees ready for winter and I thought that this would be a great idea.

That's exactly what I would use them for to. I have about 5 mango trees that are planted way I n the back of my property with really no access to water other than run off water and rain water. No irrigation. Is 20 gallons of slow drip water enough for one tree per week?

Install some IV drip lines to a 55 gallon drum.
They drip water and collect rain water.
