To be fair, that happens everywhere not only in Brazil, and i would blame more to the postal service receiving the seeds, I've ordered seeds many times from Brazil, and so far i have always got my seeds, just once i tried with cuttings and it was confiscated. The countries i never order anything , not even seeds are Italy and France, i tried a few times with both and i never got anything.

I have purchased several packs of seeds from Adhemar and although he sent them every time but I find myself sending good money time and time again to find that my seeds get intercepted by customs. I really would like more seeds Adhemar but I can't afford to throw money away anymore. I know it's not your fault.

I deal a lot with Brazil and what Berto says is correct but this doesn't happen very offend , actually it's rare ....
Sending seeds etc. to Brazil is another story , takes forever and you have a 50/50 chance they get confiscated .
Adhemar is a great guy very trustworthy and his seeds are fresh .
Rac78 , are you sure it's not your customs that confiscate the package ?

rac78 , I just noticed that you are in Australia , you have to check first if the seeds you order are not on the " forbidden " list . In case they are you have to have them labeled differently . Seeds to Australia have to have the scientific name on the bag and a mention on the envelope : SEEDS INSIDE .

Yes it was my fault. Adhemar has always come good with sending me seeds and the notification that my seeds have been confiscated has been very fast. And another thing he has offered on more than one occasion to try send them again. He's a good guy but unfortunately my luck has not been the best when it comes to my customs. I see now my post earlier sounded negative towards Adhemar but I assure you I did not mean to be, I was half asleep when I wrote it. Sorry all
