Did you find a source for the Willughbeia elmerii...? The descriptions I've read make it sound like a fruit worth growing... Would love to get some seeds as well.

Good luck with 1,4,6 and maybe 2. 3 and 5 are easier to get.

He'll have them Stuart and not many on the forum seem to have access to the seeds. I am lucky that I got some from a local tree and will pass them on to someone in South America unless I get many more and can share more widely.
Yam you will need a huge and sophisticated set up to grow that selection as it is loaded with heat/humidity loving whoppers.

Hello Bonakyon
There was a site of South Korea to sell the seed Willughbeia elmerii previously.
However, since the site is closed, yet I could not find the seeds.
If I find a seed if Willughbeia elmerii, I will send you a message.

I think you have better chance of UFO landing on your lawn than finding nr. 1. I'm up to a challenge to find this one because description makes it sound like a fruit with enormous potential.

Russell you could always make a few chums in South America and SE Asia and whip a few seeds to swap. Oscar does have a great selection.

I have nothing but time on my hands. what do you mean whip a few seeds to swap? if i get any extras i dont need and see if people want to swap?everything im growing at the moment are a lone way from producing seed for swapping. I'm having a bit of trouble getting my malpighia glabra to set fruit, it flowers and they all just drop off.i've only gotten about 5 fruit in total off it in the 2yrs I've had it. I bet you've made quiet a good network of buddies over the years. there's so much here to take in it's like an overloaded of info and knowledge. it's going to take me years to familialize myself with species names alone not to mention flavours and textures of thier fruits. probably bitten off more than I can cew allready but im not scared of a little experamenting and learning and might even meet some really cool people considering I dont get out much these days .

Russell by whipping up a few seeds I mean get the stuff here that is hard to get overseas and swap. Sweet passionfruit, fingerlimes or achachas from the supermarket would be good. Matisias, abius, mangosteen, ice cream beans from Rusty's would get attention.Kepels and other fruit from the saltwater centenary lakes on Greenslopes  Street or a selection of fruit from sugarworld at Edmonton. Feast of the senses is on in Innisfail with a big selection. Swap with people on Daleys.Get some native lillly pillies in the parks. There are a few sources around.

Can you see yourself living anywhere else? mountains, rainforest, outback and reef all in our backyard, now we just got to sort these pricks trying to sell it off and kill it.
