Will my trees be okay after large amounts of fertilizer?

So I live in an area where we have gardeners come around and cut the grass and such. Well this time, they decided to add their own fertilizer to my in ground plants, right next to the trunk, ESPECIALLY on my coconut, which looks as if a small bucket was just poured over it.  I tried to get as much of it away from the trunk and spread it around because there is no way I can remove it.  Then it rained.

I'm real worried for my plants, are they going to be okay?

I'd investigate exactly what fert they put on questionable area,
Then look online for fert co. & get sheet of what's in it.  Might be good, might not.
With rainy season here, it'll get flushed or do so with hose asap if needed.

In case of an emergency and if the plants get burned from too much nitrogen ,you can apply gypsum( powder from construction store).
Gypsum is used to recover lawn spots that are burned because of dog urine wich is verry high in nitrogen.
