Title: Pringle's Sapote (Casimiroa Pringlei)
Post by: RiversOFT on September 19, 2019, 09:19:01 PM
Pringle's Sapote (Casimiroa Pringlei) seeds have a pretty good germination rate, planted 4 seeds and 4 sprouted, there’s some weeds sprouting up I need to get too 😅
But wanted to see who else is growing these and would love any tips for them

Mine is only a foot tall. I just feed it compost/manure tea periodically and it seems to do fine. It's just a white sapote, although much cold hardier. Treat them like citrus and I think they will do fine.
The mother tree for most of the pringleis is (or was) at a nursery a few miles from me. I say was because the nursery closed and I think the property is being "developed". I've gone by there trying to contact someone but no luck. D

Thanks for the info that’s good to know, the person I got the seeds from harvested them from a wild tree they found in Texas
