Tropical Fruit Discussion / Young Pitangatuba Decline
« on: May 25, 2020, 07:05:27 PM »
Hello - A couple of my pitangatubas are not doing well. Many of the leaves are getting reddish spots. Here are a few photos:
The plants are in full sun, they get plenty of water. The problem seemed to begin after I fertilized them (used liquid VPG Fertilome). I'm wondering if maybe my soil blend is too dense - maybe waterlogged roots? I thought I was using a well draining soil blend - it's a bagged mix called "Menehune Magic".
I'm grateful for any your ideas about how to help my plants. - Jen
