Incredible, our average/year is like 16". Most of it does come in sudden downpours though.

Over 4” in Sunrise just yesterday, it has been raining like this for about a week with no end in sight. If anyone knows of a ‘stop the rain’ dance, please share!

My entire yard flooded! Hope the trees like it, at least I don't have to give em chlorinated water for some time.

The ground was so dry canals here were running completely dry, the first I've seen this in many years. I took this pic of a canal 200 yards or so from my house a few days before the rain came.

Regards,

In SE Florida, in my zip 33321...... I think we have gotten 12" or more rain in the last five days. My lawn really greened up.
We even had rain last night. The canals were getting fairly low so its all good.

Gary, please take and show the after picture.
We are responding to flooding complaints all over the place, curious how full that ditch is now.

Since starting thread, a foot fell here in psl.
Rear corner of yard has standing water which i rarely see during summer.
I go by what i dump & redump from buckets.
I also see the many yards of topsoil i water settled 3x doesn't drain.  So i take it when i plant mango tees, i better dig below topsoil & mix in sand that's below.

Yucatán 25” this week and more in the weekend. By the time this tropical storm passes we’ll have half the rain total for the year in a few days.

I never had standing water here till now.  Work in progress but still.
Ya'll have rare saturated areas?

Consider yourself lucky, I have a pond of 5 inches depth in deep spots streching half the yard. Tagpools are swiming around  :D

Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
