Thrn make it 4ft, it doesnt really matter that much. Moving dragonfruit plants is a big pain though so plan accordingly. They are heavy, sharp, awkward. Not a fun plant to move around.

I'm no expert but I've seen different heights from really short to pretty tall. It probably comes down to preference and ease of harvesting and maintenance. Mine is around 4 1/2 or 5 feet tall, I'm going to be up potting some cuttings from last year and I plan on making the post maybe a foot shorter.Thanks for your reply. I think 5 feet will be the best height. Maybe someone else will give advice.
Any reason the cuttings must come from Australia?I searched for Ocamponis x coniflorus and found it only in Australia. I can buy from any person who can offer, but today I saw it only from the forum member Rannman

To date, the greenhouse is not fully equipped with a heating system, so every autumn I have to transfer plants to the house. As heaters, I use household infrared panels, but they do not give the desired result, and therefore are only involved in the early spring and autumn.What kind of heating system do you use? You need a male and female vine to fruit. You better plant the remaining seeds, unless you are sure that the two which sprouted are one male and the other female!!!!Chandramohan, I gave my friends two seeds each, they also grew, we will probably be able to exchange plants with them. I still have 16 pieces left, I see no reason to plant them all, it will take me a huge space.
