Thanks Rob. I'll look into that. Had the house 3 yrs never had an issue with this tree before. Assumed it was the flys.

Last year i noticed a few damaged fruits on one tree. This year both of my old trees(guessing as old as house, built in 1960) are loaded with damaged fruits.
Anything i can do?

Sorry off topic, but I grow Bradford watermelon every year in South Florida, highly recommended. Lots of seed, thick rind, but awesome fruit. I plan to pickle the rind this year. The more room the better, and don't over water when fruit is almost ripe, lose sweetness.

My boss asked me what's up with his pinnapple. Never seen anything like it. I tried googling but got a bunch of weird results.

Your already hooked brother. Remember just keep planting and encroach on the open space. Ask the wife for forgiveness later 😂

I'm sorry for you loss. I have some salak seedling to put under the tree, that should teach em. ;)

I have to say that I had a very different experience.  I had 10 lbs. shipped to me, they arrived on 7/15 and were in good shape.  There were maybe four or five that were cracked or smashed. Overall I was very impressed and ate the entire box in three days!

Cheers,
Richard
Mine was the same or better, maybe had a few bruised fruits one cracked, no mold no complaints.
But i agree some box support would be a smart move in the future.
Overall i was very pleased with the purchase.
