Sylvia cherry dying after potting
« on: September 01, 2020, 11:27:00 PM »
Hello, I recently bought this grafted Sylvia sweet cherry tree from a nursery closeby..I live in the tropics and it is hot and humid out in our region ..I know this kind of cherry usually grows in temperate climates but the nursery man assured me that this would grow..I decided to plant the cherry tree in a 10inch pot first to let it grow and develop its root system before planting it into a larger container..however the leaves started drooping after a few days and some started yellowing and falling out.it  looked as if the plant is in severe stress so I decided to defoliate it ..how do I make the plant survive? :-[ :'(
