I have a small 'seedless che' grafted onto 'osage orange'. This grafted one is female and thornless. Going on 2 yrs old.. got set back some by a brief drought last year. No fruit or blooms yet. Similar care as a mulberry I believe. Put it in a fair amount of sun but not scorching. They also take from cuttings easily.
The grafting part is to eliminate suckering. If i knew this in advance, and knew they were so easy to root from cuttings, i would not have bought a grafted one. lol
