They have both been in pots for over 8 months!   Thx for the info!!  so the lychee should get more direct sun?   I water a bit evryother day is taht to much onlt a gallon or so?   it looked do great 10 moths ago the poof no leaves.   so water sun and stop looking at it is the best way to get a reward from it?   I really appreciate your comments and will follow them until it recoveres or gets worse.

Thx EEk

Well unfortunatly Ive only had Brewster, Mauritius , and sweetheart but I enjoy the  Mauritius best maybe because the pit is smaller(Chx tongue) and their is more flesh but i could have it mixed up so I vote

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Osteen Mango
« on: July 21, 2012, 03:47:38 PM »
Very tru the Osteen grows well and is a heavy yeilder     little to no fiber good sive fruit  the only thing on Merrit Island is that they have to complete with other mangoes that are much more appealing to the eye (Kent, VP, Sunset, Keitt, and a few others on the farm) thats may be the only reason their not more popular for commercial viability.    Just an Ugly looking Mango :(

Sry all those RPs and ODs are not available for cuttings or anything else  I spoke with farm owner and it was a big neg.  Once again sry to get Anyones hopes up.  Those trees are trees that we can not find any where but on our farm and she would like to keep it that way.  If they were mine I would LOVE to trade and bring these rare trees to others but not my call.   SRY!!
