Sweeter than the others I have... and the largest fruits. The seed rattles around inside the ripe fruit like a walnut.

This year they all really bloomed well and set a lot of fruit.
I've been pretty critical of Pitangatubas in the past because so many of them are too acidic to really enjoy. But these are much more palatable. I still don't think I could eat more than 2 or 3 at a time... but as a garden snack they are pretty tasty.
They are best when dead ripe
As far as testing for sugar content.. I don't have that type of equipment nor the interest.
