This is a huge commitment for me because I am not one to babysit plants. This is the first soursop I've ever laid my eyes on so I have no idea what to do as far as pruning and training. I do not want it to be tall and lanky. I want it to be a afro bush. This spring should I go down to the side branches and measure up 12 to 18 in then head it? I am preparing to get what I need to bring it inside. I plan on doing so in November as temperatures drop below 50 degrees. So far I upsized it to a bigger pot. It was not root-bound just a little trimming. I feel pretty comfortable with that. :)

this is where it will be in my house with grow lights on it
