Wow sound like a fruit that can be grown in the Florida swamp beside pond apple. Are these wild seeds or are they the commercial variety Carlos?

If anyone needs Camu-camu this is the last call  for this batch. I cant save the seeds, and will sow all the ones not traded or sold.

Before ordering find out what the specific requirements are for your own country.

In the USA they require a phytosanitary certificate and if they open your package they will destroy the seeds at least that is what happened to me.

It seems like anything that comes from South or Central America goes directly to Miami customs, and they are one of the strictest.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me.  Someone sent me some miracle fruit seeds from Costa Rica a few years ago and I received a letter from Miami customs saying they destroyed my seeds and I could have been fined..etc.

 They never fine people btw.

If you live in the USA don't order from this guy because it is a waste of your money.

I am not saying he is a scam but he doesn't include phytosanitary certificate so its like taking your money and burning it.  He gets his cut but you don't get yours.

You might as well go to the casino then to order seeds from him.  At least then you have a chance of getting something.

You will not get your seeds but instead a nice letter from US customs saying:  We confiscated your seeds because no phytosanitary certificate.

All seeds shipped from South and Central America go directly to Miami customs.

Miami customs is probably the strictest customs in the USA because of the war on drugs.

They open everything just to make sure it isn't for instance cocaine.  They find it isn't cocaine but seeds and since no phyto certificate they still destroy your seeds and send you a letter.

I warned you at least.  Ok.

Have a nice day.

You are required to have your own permit and decals that you obtain from the USDA. The seller isn't responsible for small lot seed permits, that's the buyers part.  Have you obtained level 2 clearance with the USDA and sent him the proper documentation to include in the package?  If you do that and still don't receive the seeds, its still a gamble.. But its a near sure fire failure if you don't get the permit!

This is not the sellers fault. It is your own fault as PJ1881 stated due to you not having the correct permits. A small lot of seed permit does not require a phyto. You should look into getting one instead of making negative posts about a reliable, trustworthy seller.

Many Thanks Murahilin & Patrick

I was astonished to read a post so stupid, and I asked the moderator to delete it, but since it was not deleted I will reply as he deserves.

How can I be responsible for the customs problems in HIS country? He never asked for a Phyto certificate and as was stated it is not needed.

Seeds were properly packaged and sent, if a permit it is provided it was sent together, from them I have no further responsibility. No seller or trader in the world will have or accept any responsibility.

In the US its YOUR responsibility to obtain a small lot seed permit on the USDA website.  Once you obtain the permit it can be emailed to the person you are purchasing the seeds from.. Here is a link to my permit.. http://brookstropicalnursery.com/usda/

Its that easy! Just follow the correct channels.  And the USDA will fine and confiscate!

With a permit no phyto is required and each shipment can include up to 2500 seeds.

Did you get camu camu seeds all right? I paid in April, at the end of May urged. Carlos wrote that it was sent by unregistered mail, but sends seeds again. They did not come but still nothing. :(
Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Ondrej,

Unregistred mail from brazil could take slightly over 8weeks to get to you. I have recently received pakcage after 9-10 weeks from Brazil. So it is still "normal" for their postal service. However usually it arrives in about 4 weeks.

Mine from Carlos took 2 months too... they were sent in May and received in July. (Thanks Carlos!) They had all started to germinate when they arrived here, so I'll have a quick start here :)
So wait a little more before you give up your hope.

Hi all,

Dada

make sure to ship the seeds with some sort of medium (preferably coarse vermiculite).

Seeds will have very poor viability if they are sent in a plastic bag, with no medium.
