NOT a single one..unfortunately  :(

Maybe at least 2-4 weeks?? My closest one is my Potted Glenn or maybe one or two of my inground Glenn. The Cogshall is several weeks from being ready. Of course I only have a few trees and varieties.

Glenn. Gave 3 today to some "Island" (as in Caribbean) guys who were repairing a street light pole. But Glenn is coming in. lots of unripe ones on the tree.

Zands, I just picked two Glenns that had a little bit of a orange/yellow blush on the top.  Lets see if they ripen...

Harry, that is great, which one you like better out of those 3?

Thanks,
Adiel

A couple of Edwards off of my neighbors tree had a color break.  He is kind enough to let me harvest his trees, so they are sitting on my counter ripening up :)

Nothing in my yard is ready yet ... 2 or 3 weeks for Carrie, Glenn, Florigon and Angie would be my guess ..

I started picking Rosigold in late March, early April and still have another few weeks left picking its fruit. Nothing else in my yard is ready yet I'm guessing the next ones ripe will be either Angie or Pickering.

None for me yet.

But, Cogshall looks to be near ready.  I shook the tree and none fell down.  But, one was on the ground from bushy tail rat damage.  That tells me it is close.  When the squirrels start going for the fruit they are within two weeks.

Typically rosigold is the first to ripen but mine are still green.  Glenn is near also.

Other than Rosigold,  two Joellens have colored and been picked. The rest don't look anywhere near ready.

In a couple days I'll see if the Joellens are bland, like most years, or tasty, like last year.

Just picked my first 50 pound box of Florigons. Yummy! So far looks like they're the best bearing this year.

I really like Florigon, Something about the flavor appeals to me and its super-productive and disease resistant.

They tasted differently than i remembered, but then again every fruit tasted different! I've lost a bunch to splitting, i'm guessing from rains, and then birds or some other critters peck at them once split.

I've got a florigon also, it is a great tasting and small fruit.

I figured this thread needed a photo. So here is my first taste of mango for the year.  A rosigold washed down with Tico coffee.  Good way to start the day and mango season!

I wouldn't call Florigon a small mango, at least here they get medium sized. Here is a shot i took about a month ago of a row of Florigons in the orchard:

Relatively speaking, in Florida they (the fruit) are on the smaller side.  Yes, you could say they are "bigger" than a Philippine, Gary, PPK/Lemon Meringue, Pico, amongst others but still compared to the majority of the 100+ varieties available, they are on the smaller end of the spectrum.

I found some cogshall that are ripening and my glenns are just starting to drop.  I'm sure Central Florida's season is a little later than South Florida.

Great photo of Florigon!  Florigon is one of my favorite. I like it because it does stay small and its early.  Its also very productive for a small statue tree. Smaller fruit is better for trees you want to keep contained.

I just ate a couple cogshall and am still on that first-mango-taste-of-the-season high!   Wowza...that really kicks it into gear.  Cogshall is a good one!

Ya Cogshall is a favorite of mine. First couple I've eaten this season have been a little disappointing but the last one I had had the classic delicious flavor Cogshall is known for. Moderately rich, virtually fiberless, small seed, and a really manageable growth habit. Love that mango.

Wow, you have a Cogshall ripe already? Mine are really far behind...not a hint of color on any of my Cogshall...looks to be at least a few weeks away  :(.

My Cogshall doesn't appear to be in any hurry to ripen.  I'm only now beginning to see some faint red coming through on the shoulders of a few.  Others are still green throughout.  What am I looking for so I know when to bring them into the kitchen and under the knife??

You may have less color since you have them bagged in the screening (less sun hitting the fruit can yield less color on the fruit)

Actually, the screen wraps didn't seem to affect the color of them last year (especially the ones that got lots of direct light)

Here's some wrapped ones from July last year that colored/ripened up nicely...One of the reasons I really liked using the window screen.

Yes Adiel, last year it worked very well for me...I'm really hoping it will work as well again this year.

Here's a link from GW...Thanks to Trini (she was the one I got the idea from)/
