Dragonfruit Skin
« on: November 26, 2019, 02:44:18 PM »
Anyone know why my dragonfruit has this dry looking skin. This was taken like 2 weeks back, but it’s still growing and changing color. I figured it wasn’t a big deal other than an aesthetic look, but just wanted to make sure.

It looks like snail and slug damage to me. If so it is only cosmetic.

Cool, I figured it may have only been cosmetic. And yea, there have been small little snails all around it so that definitely explains it, lol.

Speaking of dragonfruit skin I followed this recipe for using dragonfruit skin to make a sweet liqueur using rum and it is as advertised. Guests enjoyed it in clear soda with a squeeze of lime if they don't like sweet drinks.

Still thriving, getting closer to maturity everyday. But still plagued by snails, lol.
