what wood you guys if you only had one Meyer lemon fruit??? thats all the tree had  its been yellow about 6 weeks now and i think its ripe... just not sure what to do with it????

Citrus General Discussion / spring???? when!!!

living so far north my trees have a hard time making it throw winter ...   with the dry heat of the house and the lack of sun my trees lose most of there leaves and it takes most of the summer to  get them back to looking good.... i got some good fertilizer this fall and it made the trees come throw the winter better so that good i have feed them 3 times so far and thay look good and im seeing new growth on the now ...   about a mouth sooner then last year ...   i just want to thank you people for all the help you have given me  with this form as well as the other formwe use ...  a lot of good reading and info to be had .. .thank you ...  this year i have try some thing new bud graft ...mt trees look like thay were in a cat got to them ..  i grafter Kishu to them in 14 spots and raped them good with grafting tape .... im just hoping for one to take ...  we still have well overa foot os snow on the flat and the snow dont looks so bad when looking at it throw a citrus tree...

looking for some one to try a air rooting a clementine tree  for me i live in Michigan so im not in one of the state you cant send citrus to and will be growing it in a pot ...   i have try clife grafting with lol luck when it come to clementine will try bud grafting in Feb..  im willing pay for it ....   i will even take a grafting one if its small  dont want to pay a arm and leg  for shipping ...   so if your willing to try illbuy....smile...

Cold Hardy Citrus / fd were to over winter them up here????

well fall has hit here we have frost a fue times ... my fd seedling were put in the porch before frost hit them all the leaves fell off but the stem are nice and green .... ill have about another month or so  before  they have to come in for the winter ...  i know fd can take the cold weather but not up here in Michigan not even in a unheated porch ...   i have 2 different rooms i cood put them for the winter ...one get frost on the inside of the window on the real cold days the other is in a heated rood in the house ( 68 )....  need some input were to allow then to over winter??????

i have about 30 flying dragon seedlings for sale cheep will be sending them bear root ... 10 trees for 10 dollars and 0.50 for ever tree after that .... i live in Michigan and need to thin thing out before winter get here if your looking for some nice little trees let me know....

i got some fd seeds from some one on here ... i planed them in one pot and pull the first two that came up and put each in new pots...  then let the other stay in the pot ...   here is the odd thing i have one in the big pot that  is a smaller and more compact then the other shood i dig that one up and put it in pot my its self????

Citrus General Discussion / grafting in Michigan....

did 13 cleft graft on my root stock  and have watch them turn black day by day ...( cry and wine ) so today i unwrap them its  been 30 days on the grafts  ...  11 were all black  and dead as hell  1 had a little green by the graft end  and one is good ... as of now i know i have Bearss lime , Marisol clementine and Genoa lemon growing on one tree, and maybe Cara Cara as well don't hold munch hope on it doe ... i feel that doing graft in the house at this time of year is not good became of it being so dry in the house ...yes i wrap the bud wood all the way up ...   wood like some input from you guys and gals ...  do not know how to post photo yet on here so here is what i see.... some die all the way back to the tree and some open up were i split the for the cleft graft ...  when i did the graft shood i have put a rubble band on the graft then the tape???
please help ...
