it's awesome to hear cherimoya works so well for u!

I wonder why I've had so much bad luck!!??  cherimoya works really well for sugar apple, atemoya and custard apple for me...but illama has been a disappointment...maybe I use the wrong variety of cherimoya??

your tree looks amazing...great location near the house so u can keep it warm, and away from thieves...and pick fruit right out the window of your house!

I'm also glad to hear cherimoya has worked well for you. I've got 3 approach grafts going on cherimoya, to have backups in case I lose one to cold, or the pond apple gremlin strikes again.

Do you use any specific variety of cherimoya Frank?

I give my seedling guy Pierce and Booth seeds to make me rootstock.....I no longer propagate.  Lot's of vigorous cherimoyas like Campus,Honeyhart, Libby so i image one can use lots of varieties as rootstock.
