My son in San Diego county is getting wiped out by rabbits. Was never a problem before, but seem the cayote population has been reduced. What is an effective meas of controll . His crop loss is substantial.

What are they eating? What part of SD is it?
Jackrabbit population is getting stronger here and they are really hard on tree trunks. Cotton tails usually only eat vegetables or really small stuff. They even eat my cactus! Fence is the best solution.

Agree with dog suggestion. We moved our dog to in laws house while yard gets done and rabbit pulled out my most prized rooted dig cutting and my baby edranol avocado tree.
Hadn’t seen a rabbit in months when I had the dog. Now rabbits and crows and squirrels rule the yard
