Awesome JF!  Definitely the only Spirit of 76 and Maha readily available for sale in the Los Angeles area. And well worth the price!  Are they on Manila rootstock?

Thanks for the Chermioyas.  They look great in my yard.  Now I just have to figure where to put it in the backyard without my wife saying that I am ruining the landscaping in the backyard :)

JF,
Just curious, what mangos varieties are you propagating for Spring 2015?  I'm always searching for some rare varieties.  Thanks!

would be nice if we could get peach cobbler floating around Socal.... I think that's one of the few Zill varieties that hasn't graced Socals soil yet.

I haven't though about it but I guess whatever I have growing in the yard. Maybe Duncan, Cogshall,LZ,Irwin,Choc anon,Edward stuff like that. I now have 7 multi-grafted trees with over 25 varieties but I'm waiting on those for a few years. Mangos are hard to graft my take ratio is 60% during the peak season in the summer/fall and way down in the winter and spring. Annonas, for the most part, are a different story. I can reach 80%(onto cherimoya) but don't give me a reticulata or a muricata to graft I refuse to lower my batting average. so if you want an ilama, sugar apple, atemoya or cherimoya I can do that,

Ataulfo and Manila rootstock vs Turpentine
« Reply #24 on: September 02, 2014, 01:16:32 PM »
Here is an example of why Manila rootstock work better
In SoCal than turpentine. First pics are of a LZ and ST six weeks old
Next is of Zills 2-3 yrs old grafted sunrise on turpentine sold as a 7 gallons
