P. Quadrangularis Fruit
« on: May 08, 2017, 11:58:44 AM »
My passiflora quadrangularis fruit are growing nicely. To have fruit set I usually have to hand pollinate this species. I cross pollinated p. lauriflolia with my quad and am waiting to see what happens.

While not a heavy set, I have seen it set fruit here without hand pollination.

Once in a great while that may happen to my vines but to get any sort of major fruit I have to hand pollinate.

No. These are from an older plant I got at Fruitscapes on Pine Island a couple of years ago.
