ID: Strawberry Guava?
« on: June 02, 2016, 06:02:12 PM »
I got some seeds from Tradewinds that I thought never germinated. I saw this little seedling that I don't believe is a weed. Is it what I think it is? If so, I only need one plant, right?

Strawberry guava  has deep green and leathery leaves. The ribs on the leaves are not as pronounced and numerous. Not sure if it is.

It should be a weed.

it does not have opposite leaves as guavas (and as all myrtaceae I know)

Okay, I guess it is some sort of weed. I've planted a number of seeds that just never sprouted and was wondering if it was one. Thanks for the answers all!
