Cola lepidota. Just need one tree to make fruit?yes it should be similar to cola acuminata and nitida in terms of growth and requirements
Any tips on germinating Willughbeia ? I have tried several times and they don't take. they appear to be extremely picky!I just plant them like any other seed and they've done fine, even the orange skin kubal I planted in bad soil a year ago and neglected it and it stayed alive. Most of the ones that have done good were already germinating when I got them.
I ordered several Belize Blackberry seeds from Trade Winds. I have germinated other Trade Winds seeds but had absolutely no success with Belize Blackberry. None.it was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure on the details, but i just planted the seeds regularly, and I was using a bad soil mix at the time. I'm pretty sure they all grew successfully since I've had 10-15 plants of this before.
How did you germinate your seeds and what was your germination rate, if you do not mind me asking?
I wonder how they grow and disperse on creen banks, if most of fruits are seedless?I have a blue lilly pilly plant
Anyway I am still interested in those seeds, and Aldo in blue Lilly pilly
Damn Tre, it looks like you spent a small fortune on ebay recently?yes I have bought all these off ebay the past few months. I want to plant them all in ground but they're in pots right now.
Are you putting them in the ground or pots?
I have had problems with my water and my potting soil and my jabos seem '
to suffer the most. I think I got everything dialed in finally.
I do well with smaller jabos on my lanai that gets filtered sun or my porch that gets
limited sun. My larger trees I have in large pots and they get half a day or less sun.
I do have 2 sabaras in the ground in full sun and one is really taking off, I think the Holly tone
has made a huge difference?
