Fresh star fruit seeds
« on: August 24, 2019, 04:34:01 PM »
Fresh star fruit seeds from my own seed grown trees in my father's yard in Sarasota, Florida. Original fruit was good so I planted seeds. 4 years later had 3 mature trees that all produce good fruits as good as parent tree. Feels good to offer these seeds to others having had once grown them from seed myself.

5 seeds for $1. Minimum order of 15 seeds plus shipping.

Thanks! DG

Thank you sir for the feedback! Hope you get tons of sprouts!

Just picked the seeds out of another large batch of fruits while preparing them to make jelly. Tons of seeds available. Many stored seeds from the previous round are sprouting too in the moist soil they are stored in. Very viable super fresh tree ripened seeds! Anyone else out there interested?

Many seeds still available! Many starting to sprout therefore only available for another week or two before most are too far along and need planted.

Most seeds beginning to sprout but not yet too far along. If anyone wants seeds please get them ASAP! Still many left to grab. After another week or so most seeds will be too far into sprouting to ship. Let me know!

Hi, do you have any seeds that have not germinated yet (my country will not allow pre-germinated seeds)?

Cheers.

Yes there are many unsprouted too but unfortunately they are all at the point of sprouting shortly either way. Undoubtedly many would sprout on the way even if I picked not sprouting seeds. They also cannot be dried out and must be shipped moist therefore also contributing to the likelihood of sprouting.

Thanks. Off-topic, but do you grow the starfruit outside in Zone 8?

I have seen people this far north growing fruit on them successfully if the tree is properly microclimated. The original trees I grew are in my father's yard in Sarasota. He had sent me two boxes of 20+ lbs of fruit this season. I saved the seeds while eating some and preparing jelly with the rest. However so far I don't have a tree mature up here yet. Only been here a bit over two years.
