The Plum Pine or Illawarra Plum, Podocarpus elatus is a rainforest pine that grows along the east coast of Australia where it prefers temperate to subtropical climates.
It bears fruit that look like large purple grapes, 2 – 3 cm, with a sweet juicy pulp and plum-like flavor.
