If you want to be kind you could call those childish. Because only a child would believe that's real.

It's also possible to change a cherry tree into an apple tree...

Hoy dare you say such ridiculous things here on the fruitforum without asking the thoughtpolice about it!

Well untill i saw it with my own eyes i also would never believe that it was possible to change an appletree into a cherrytree.

Well i saw a documentary from an American fruitspecialist, he brought the white mango scions to the US to grow them there...i don't know how it ended, never heard of it again. But that guy had a huge nursery iirc..

Are the watermelons growing out of the mangotree? I don't see any leaves for the watermelonplant.

I've been researching it and watching growers on YouTube, apparently, it's supposed to be a form of growing that has been purposely overlooked by the mainstream for years. I'm on the fence about it, from what I understand the basic form being we live in the southern hemisphere you are supposed to wrap your copper clockwise? ( if I understand correctly) and stick it in the ground about a foot or so and it allegedly gathers ether and "charges" the soil. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that i never tried this but i can't wait....i think there are many technlogies hidden for us and this might be one of them. I will try it myself too very soon but i wanted to hear some opinions about it first.

If you take a stick, wrap it with copper wire and stick it next to your plant in the soil it will grow MUCH faster/better.

Did anyone try this technique before?

Buddha's Head, atemoya, had its time of fame for a while and it's probably the same as what you call Pinaapple SA.
Since then, Big Eyes Sugar Apple has taken over but its international, meaning US, fame has somewhat faded.

It'd be great if you could provide more info on this Tamali Damu SA. Is it NMK1 or another SA hybrid from Taiwan?

You know, now that you said it, I think that the sugar apple is the "Big Eyes" sugar apple, because he said that this variety's name, translated to spanish was something like "big scales" (or something like that), so it makes sense to me that it is actually the "big eyes" variety... makes sense I think.

I think the name was big King iirc it gives huge yellow fruit, i bought Big King and Pine apple noina...

Mine didn't get hand pollination and yes they taste like pine apple.

I tried it many many times but it never worked. I have a few green mango tree's in 130 liter cement bowls , they never bloomed so far and are big tree's. Now i try waterstressing as well but they are tough and can stand drought.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Jackfruit from a cutting already flowering?
« on: December 14, 2021, 08:51:58 PM »
Yes that sure looks like a flower!

Jackfruit can do this, i've seen it many times in the nurseries where they had grafted tree's from about a meter high with blooms.  They can also fruit while still small, i 've seen fruiting jacks in pots from about 2 meters high..
