Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Luffa seeds, 5 for 4 usd
« on: August 14, 2017, 06:16:39 PM »
Luffa is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines in the cucumber (Cucurbitaceae) family.
The fruit must be harvested at a young stage of development to be edible. When the fruit is fully ripened, it is very fibrous. The fully developed fruit is the source of the loofah scrubbing sponge which is used in bathrooms and kitchens. Luffa are not frost-hardy, and require 150 to 200 warm days to mature.
I have 20 seeds.

By two years of age, often up to a hundred dried fruits can be harvested at a time, giving 400 to 500 seeds a few times a year.
Sacha Inchi, also known as Mani del Inca or Inca Peanut in English, is native to the Peruvian Amazon region and cultivated for centuries. The plant produces star shaped fruits which contain oval and dark brown seeds looking like flat, compact almonds. The Sacha Inchi seeds are rich in oils and proteins. The oil contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acid such as Omega 3, 6 & 9 and is rich in iodine, Vitamin A and E. It has a delicious mild nutty flavor. Traditionally Inca Peanuts are eaten as they are or roasted.

I've got so much order for these seeds. I searched every sources I know for more seeds, and could find around 50 seeds /I have order for more than 200/
Soncoya is rare and it seems the season is over - it would be a surprise to find more.
Like this the seeds have new price, 3 usd for a seed.

We found these amazing big Soncoyas💛
The seeds have a germination time of 1 to 6 months. Trees take about 1 to 3 years to bear and can be container grown. This species is closely related to the cherimoya, the sugar-apple and other Annonas❤️

We found amazing Tamarillos, sweet in the inside and sour outside.
Propagation by seeds is easy and ideal in protected environments.
The tamarillo trees are adaptable and very easy to grow.
The tree grows very quickly and is able to bear fruit after 1.5 to 2 years. A single tree can produce more than 20 kg of fruit per year.
Tamarillos are suitable for growing as indoor container plants.

10 seeds for 2 usd
I send seeds if your order is at least 5 usd.

We have amazing delicious Sourssops in Costa Rica.

I found these beauties yesterday💛

As I learnt from experienced seed-senders, I clean the recalcitrant seeds well and soak them in Hydrogen Peroxide for 30 minutes. I pack them in plastic bag with holes in them for breathing and some moist Hydrogen Peroxide soaked  coconut husk to keep them from drying out.

I love to spread Fruit Seeds in the world, thank you to make it possible.

The fruits are edible and very nutritious when cooked. The fruit contains extremely high levels of vitamin A with up to 1,500% of the recommended daily allowance in a 100g serving. Peach-palms are also cultivated for the heart of palm and the trunk can make valuable timber.
Fruit
The edible fruit hangs in clusters of 50 to 300 fruit and may weight 25 lbs (11.4 kg). There may be up to 5 clusters of fruit on a plant at a time. The time from flowering to fruit harvest is about 8 to 9 months.
The fruit is a drupe and is yellow to orange to scarlet or brownish, turning purplish when fully ripe. The fruit may be oval or round, 1 to 2 inches in diameter, with a 3-pointed calyx at the stem end. The peel is thin. The pulp may be yellow to light-orange, sweet, dry, and mealy; fruit usually contain only 1 black seed enlcosed in a thin endocarp. Some fruit are seedless.
Heart of Palm
The central white, soft core of young pejibaye stems is edible. Young suckers 3 to 4 ft high (0.91.2 m) high are cut at their bases and the leaves and outer leaf stems are removed until the central core is exposed. The core is then cut loose and harvested for eating.

/I will take photos by myself, now I used photos from internet./
