As JF said, we should give credit to La Verne even though their high grafts are ugly, their trees could be small or pencil thin, their potting mix are bad for long term planting. I just found today that I have about 100 fruit trees and over half is from La Verne. The variety and price and most important, the availability is really beneficial to us Southern Californians.
