Posted this link long time ago. Has good info. It's what led me to try starting from cuttings. But i had no success with that.

Sorry, Oscar, guess I missed it.

I had about 50% success rate from cuttings of E. Latifolia, E. Ebbingei and the "unknown Goumi relative " that's circulating Bay Area rare fruit circles but as we know timing and other factors can affect a batch of cuttings . It seems very easy to grow and despite climbing characteristics previously mentioned I think in my climate it could be a nice understory crop like cape gooseberry .
