In defense of Plantogram, they have excellent trees and excellent service. Their price includes the phyto cert. I ordered a miracle fruit tree from them in Summer and I’ve harvested a lot of fruit from it already and I counted over 200 mostly green fruit still hanging on it. My miracle fruit tree is around 5-6 feet tall. Here’s a close up of some developing fruit.

I bought 2 plants from them 2 or 3 years ago and they arrived in perfect condition - I had no complaints. Their prices have more than doubled since then, and seem somewhat exaggerated. But I don't question their quality.

I just ordered a couple of maprang trees from them, trying to see if they can make it in San Diego.

You used to be able to get small miracle fruit trees from a Home Depot for around $25 but they were very small. I looked around and wanted a big tree and they had the biggest trees for the price that I could find.

Mark, can’t you graft Maprang onto Mango? I bet you could do it at your location, especially if you keep it in a greenhouse until it’s older or if you Graft onto a vigorous Mango.

Simon, I was looking into grafting it, but it seems that everyone has had a hard time.

Indeed high prices for something on sale. Maybe prices have increased lately, but I try to shop around so I know the value of the plant I am purchasing. Last year I bought a green Caimito from Plantogram for $120 delivered. It has been very healthy and thriving. Ong’s wanted to charge me $150 for a smaller plant.

When compared to Ong's most other nursery prices will look reasonable.

Haven't had issues with them, great customer service honestly.
I've always live chat with them to see what size tree girth/height/container before shipping.

They do a fantastic job packing it, with 2-3 stakes end to end holding the foundation of the box.
Package arrives completely taped to avoid any soil disruption.

$50 for shipping with Phyto Cert included (On side of package) is better than buying the normal Home Depot, Lowes stuff.
Pricey for us West Coasters, but can't argue with quality.
