« on: December 08, 2017, 05:28:56 PM »
got a nance that may have been in a greenhouse.   was wondering the cold hardiness and if it goes dormant in subtropics.  thanks

Can these take CA's lower air humidity?  Is it similar to Acerola in hardiness?  I have a few indoors, but would love to not tent them, etc.

I think they aren't as cold hardy as acerola, they don't need that much humidity to do ok, but to really fruit good they need a Nayarit, Mexico type of climate.

I'm growing some and they definitely seem to thrive when introduced to a greenhouse climate. My plants outdoor are showing a little bit of cold stress on the leaves.
