When does pomegranate start to bloom in southern Cali?
« on: February 24, 2018, 04:58:09 PM »
Hello,
I have a sweet Utah and another  unknown variety in So Cal.  They had never flower before, so I was wondering when is the blooming season?  They’re both about 3 yrs old in ground and started to flush now..  Thanks

It can flower at any time so long as it’s warm enough, but you’ll get a lot of blooms around May.

This has also been my experience. Poms are some of the latest blooming fruits in my orchard, with guavas being last.
