I'm growing Arrayan, but my plants only a foot tall, so can't give much advice. The fruit is quite tart. The plants here are very vigorous but don't know anything about their cold tolerance.

I've eaten them. Tart, less pleasing than normal guavas, smaller than strawberry guavas. Positives are they are bite sized, and the El Salvadoran friends who saw that I had them got super excited, flavors of home. There was a "commercial" op in SoCal that shipped them to the hispanic markets up here in northern california two years ago, but haven't seen them since.

Psidium santorum for president of the Psidium party?  :P ;D

Never heard of sartorianum, but the name makes me think of politics! I'm not sure if I like this one yet!  ;)

Leaves, a little red from being moved out of filtered light into more direct.

bark

Whole thing, (Where's Waldo?)

Jason, I think you are where I first heard about this fruit, then I saw it at Mimosa LA and bought it on a whim.

I have a space in the yard for it so it'll get planted.

Adam, I usually think of nuts not fruits when talking politicians.  :D  Politics from the Latin Poly=multi and tics=blood suckers. :blank:
