I bought some Eugenia braziliensis seeds 3 years ago,
Only this one is leaves difference with others. Somebody advise iD?

I believe it's E. uniflora as well. Grumichama has much larger leaves. Is that Santol behind your "Surinam cherry"? Good luck. Chris

I also growing surinam cherry. but leaves differece with this, So i question here.
if i got friut this time. I know what is it.
Yes. that is santol tree.. but not yet flowers.... (maybe 6 years age...)

finally i got fruit.
color is bright orange and small fruit.
no seed inside. looks like small surinam...
not sweet no resin(i am not sure it is too small)
resilient than my surinam cherry.

Safe to say it's not E. uniflora.
Are you sure the fruit was ripe? My guess the fruit wanted to get a bit darker in color.
Could be a mutation. Another possibility is it is a hybrid of grumichama and a similar species like E. blastantha, E. ophthalmantha or E. itaguahiensis. Hybrids sometimes have quite different characteristics from both of the parents. I trust you have already asked the seed supplier.

I think full ripe. because same color during one week....
Other seeds which bought together are growing Eugenia braziliensis.. only this tree growing other.
Maybe I also think hybrid....
