Today, seeds from Bellamy arrived in the Czech Republic. Despite the cold season that we have now, the seeds are completely fresh. Some also have fresh green sprouts or healthy roots. A few extra seeds too. Thank you very much. Excellently job!

Thank you very much for the useful information about fruits.
I have really little space, so the plant has already changed hands. At the new owner, it is like a decorative houseplant  :).

Thanks for the Syzygium cumini idea. I have it too, it's very similar but not the same. Eugenia sp. Belize Blackberry has more pendent growth.
It would help if it has already bloomed for someone.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Eugenia sp. Belize Blackberry - what kind of?
« on: December 25, 2023, 02:36:15 PM »
I have this plant from seeds bought 4 years ago here: https://www.tradewindsfruit.com/eugenia-sp.-belize-blackberry-seeds
Unfortunately this plant is very similar to a false Eugenia floribunda that I used to grow and later turned out to be Syzygium floribundum. We wrote here on the forum here: https://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=1445.0
I think this Eugenia sp. Belize Blackberry is again Syzygium floribundum. It can be determined 100% by the flowers and possibly the fruits. It hasn't bloomed for me yet, so I wanted to ask if anyone had flowers yet?
I wrote a question to the seller a month ago if the seeds were from the fruit he has in the picture or if the picture is just illustrative. Unfortunately no response.

I bought 5 pcs of Thaumatoccocus seeds from this seller in the summer. I got a lot more seeds and germination was almost 100%. Photo of one of the plants.
I highly recommend!!!

I believe the cost is really reasonable.

Thanky you very much.
I thought that growing tropical plants was difficult in the Czech Republic. There are probably more complicated places. Hello to Alaska!  :)

I currently have completely fresh seeds from my plants - Plinia sp. Escarlate 2€ each and Plinia aureana 4€ each.

9
Frost resistance is certainly less than that of P. cattleyanum (tested). Probably similar resistance to Psidium guajava.

10
Although I prefer an trade, but since no one responded, I am supplementing the prices for sale (only EU):

Plinia aureana, Plinia sp. Escarlate 14€
Plinia sp. Grimal 16€
Syzygium jambos 15€
Eugenia selloi  15€
Eugenia sulcata  30€
Eugenia reinwardtiana  10€

Postage 1 plant 8€, for more plants I will find out.

11
I offer for trade for seeds or seedlings of Eugenias or Campomanesias.
If necessary, a sale is also possible.
The plants offered are grown from seeds harvested from my plants. I grow in pots in Central Europe (Czech Republic).
I always add a picture of the grown fruits.
Due to the Czech customs authorities, it is only possible within the EU.

   Plinia aureana 14€

  Plinia sp. Escarlate  14€

   Plinia sp. Grimal  16€

   Syzygium jambos  15€

     Eugenia selloi  15€

Eugenia sulcata - very rare  30€
  Eugenia reinwardtiana   10€

Unfortunately, I do not currently have fresh seeds available. I have small plants, but shipping is only possible within the EU.

Postage will be between 10 and 15 €. Probably more with Davidsonia and Annona jahnii and with more plants.

I offer for sale several plants. Unfortunately, I only send in the EU, I do not have the opportunity to give a phytocertificate.
I calculate postage according to your country and the size of the plants you are interested in.
Payment in advance via Paypal.
The first photo is always the offered plant, the next photos from my big fruiting plant.

Spondia dulcis Dwarf - 45€   not avaitable
A small plant, but grows very fast. A rare variety that bears fruit after only 1 or 2 years. Very suitable for growing in a pot, where it is also willing to bear fruit.

Davidsonia pruriens - 60€
Rare Australian plum. I am selling a beautiful larger plant.

Psidium striatulum - 15€
A rare guava from Brazil with narrow leaves and lower grow. Very suitable for growing in a pot.
