Acerola propagation

Just curious, but what's the best way to propagate this one?  Air layer, cutting?

Has to be cuttings.

Seeds seem to be sterile.

I'm sure airlayering would work, but would be more tedious

Air layering does work but does not seem to be the best method.  The percentage of takes are not great and with the time involved, as Adam stated, cuttings are the way to go.

Cuttings take a long time too. Keep damp in the semi shade. Acerola can take 2-3 months while others take less than a month.

Thanks I need to do some pruning anyway so figured I'd try.  Going to use bottom heat unless someone tells me otherwise.

i have 2 of 3 cuttings that are taking
nothing special. no bottom heat or tent (but it is humid here)
they were small, size of a q-tip or so...

i have an air-layer i started 2 or maybe 3 months ago
i pulled the tape off yesterday.
it had the startings of roots, but none had fully formed yet.
this is a larger branch, thickness of my middle finger.
