I have a ton of 1 gallon seedlings. Papaya Tree can be $$$. Not sure if you're looking for something more senior or small?

how long do seedlings take to fruit?
are they true to seed?
how old are your seedlings?
how much? and where are you located? I am in Riverside County.

I can easily cut you lots of wood from mine, in Irvine.  If you'll be out this way I can leave it out for you or mail a couple of small sticks in an envelope.  Let me know.

Two weekends ago I bought one of these from a guy in Irvine, the fruit are dark almost black and very good, He couldnt say the exact cultivar. He had small seedlings, small bushes in 5 gallon pots with fruit on them. larger trees in 7 gallon pots. Lots of different ones to pick from. Found his ad on craigslist. There were two guys selling them in irvine, one guy only had small seedlings. one guy had alot more variety and some were grafted all different sizes.

Yeah. I was ready to buy one online and have it shipped to me but happened to decide to look on craigslist first and happened to find a perfect small grafted bush with fruit on it already and already acclimated to our southern California climate. It was perfect. Lets hope it produces fruit for me. If anyone else is interested I can point you guys towards the craigslist add for the guy who had alot of trees. He was very friendly and knowledgeable too.

I would not recommend the guy who only had seedlings, he was not very friendly or knowledgeable and only had small seedlings.

I've contacted both these people, pretty sure. The larger seedling / grafted ones looked pretty big, and I think they were charging $60?

Yes I think i paid $50 or $60 for a 3 foot by 3 foot bush that was already fruiting. I plan to keep it not much larger then that in a large pot. The time and effort it would of taken to get it from a small seedling to that size was worth the slight extra cost to me and I did not have to pay for shipping. I think he was selling the larger 5-7 foot trees for $70 or $80. He had smaller seedlings too but I didnt ask the price.
