Orange Essence and Fruit Punch are poly?

First I've heard of it.

Bumping this thread. I received some Nam Dak Mai Seeds internationally that rotted from a long shipment due to COVID. Does anyone have access to seeds?

I planted a ton of FL mangoes this year here in Santa Barbara. I usually have some that do amazing, and some that do horrible and grow slowly. Lets see how these pop up over the next 4 weeks and contact me later?

Thanks for reaching out. Let's stay in touch. What mangoes have you had success with in Santa Barabra?

I plant any mango seed that is from an exemplary store bought fruit (Kent, Tommy, Ataulfo, etc) and they do okay is all I can say. The Kents seem to be pretty slow compared to Florida mango types but durable to cold (I left many outside as seedlings and a few survived down to 26f).

Did the same thing last year with FL mangoes I had delivered to Oregon when visiting and one of them is almost 4' tall in just a year. This is what you want, I understand, and shows that this is the type of seedling to hold onto. Not all of my seedlings performed this way, even FL seeds.

I have about 4 seeds that have sprouted now from about 20 FL mangoes of various types, and another I gifted to another SB grower has that one popping up too (buttercream). It seems the "cream" varieties: coconut cream, buttercream are the fastest growers for me here. The large and vigorous seedling I have is Coconut Cream. I'd say it takes a year before you can say it was a good seedling or not and surviving a winter is a good step too. My plants need to be really hardy up here. 110F day in the summer and 26-30F in winter here or there. I did protect a lot of the stuff I have with frost cloth this year.

Great Info. Definitely two sides of the extreme for you. What mango seeds may you have available this summer?

I've shipped out 4 orders of Lemon Zest seeds in the past few weeks and I can send one more order on Monday for whomever wants it: $30 for 12-15 seeds, shipped priority mail with tracking. Last call. I only have Lemon Zest available.

K-Rimes. I’m in Santa Barbara also and just joined the forum to make contact with you.
Yesterday I  got a Kent mango seed ready to root in water and excited.

We bought a Malika from LA and a Manila from La Sumida. Looking forward to grafting.

Do you have fruit growing on any of your mango trees?

CL sorry no seeds from me right now. Just getting started.

Awesome stuff. Didn’t know Sumida has mangoes! I have had an obscene amount of flowers but so far no fruit set up here on the 154.

Also to follow up I have a few seedlings I could sell to you OP - have a few Haitian mangoes popping up, and coconut cream or K3 from FL. I’d sell either for $15.

Sounds good K-Rimes.

I'm looking for Kesar and Angie.

I am close to the 154 on ramp off foothill.
I'll let you know about the seedlings.
