Indoor Calamondin Citrus leaf color
« on: November 14, 2018, 12:31:47 AM »
Hi Friends,

My indoor Calamondin Citrus has some kind of coloring on its leaves. It’s kind of yellowing between veins. But not too yellow. I am not sure what deficiency symptom this is.
I feed it with citrus granular fertilizer once a month and mild liquid fertilizer once in 2 weeks.
My indoor Meyer lemon leaves are nice dark green. But not this Calamondin.
It is fruiting right now so I don’t want to do any Foliar spray of chemicals.
Could you please suggest how I can get the leaves to turn green?

Thanks
Vimalan

Your tree looks quite normal.  I do see a little manganese deficiency, on the young newer leaves, but that almost always goes away.  You can apply manganese sulfate, or manganese nitrate if you wish, but the tree should take care of the problem on its own as the new leaves fully mature.  For your information the symptoms  of an manganese deficiency are:  New leaves with darker green veins WITH green border areas to the sides of the veins, on an otherwise yellow leaf, and leaves normal in size.
